You’re a good fit for FCRM if:

• You are already an MCRM in good standing, or can demonstrate an equivalent senior professional profile.

  • Speaking at events or conferences

  • Publishing articles, guidance or thought leadership

  • Mentoring or teaching others in risk management

Section: How Our Courses Link to Membership

At OCRM®, your courses are your qualifications. All developed OCRM programmes that award an OCRM Certificate or the OCRM Diploma in Financial Risk Management for Banks are recognised as membership-qualifying qualifications. 

In simple terms: 

• Complete any OCRM Certificate → eligible for ACRM

• Complete the OCRM Diploma or 2+ Certificates + 3+ years’ experience → eligible for MCRM

• Add leadership experience + contribution to the profession → eligible for FCRM

You don’t need a separate “certification” route – your course certificate is your professional qualification.

Section: Typical Membership Pathway

A simple journey many members follow: 

1. Enrol on an OCRM Certificate
   e.g. Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Banking Risk & Compliance, Cyber Risk. 

2. On completion, apply for ACRM – Associate Certified Risk Manager. 

3. Gain experience and complete more OCRM courses or the OCRM Diploma. 

4. Apply for MCRM – Member Certified Risk Manager (professional grade). 

5. Build leadership experience and contribute to the profession.

6. Apply for FCRM – Fellow Certified Risk Manager.
